at the same time sibuk dgn at least 2 kerja lain - cari web mail utk ganti hotmail dan make the p4 pc to work. easier to find the web mail - found a good one at fastmail.fm. no fancy stuff, just text so it is fast, what more can link to hotmail and retrieve from them, so good ahh.. the pc more difficult. took out hdd, ganti another that has data on it, totally bad, so put original hdd back, but not connect cd, not it can boot, surprise, surprise. maybe cd or cable not good coz each time try connect cd back cannot boot. anyway can boot with hdd only only problem is no other software, only win xp. use my usb thumb drive to transfer from cd, but found only acdc and winzip can be of any use. partition magic cannot install. no speaker so not even try install music/video player. then connect network cable, ok, connected to hub (led on) but not to any other pc. so cannot i/o still to the pc.

saw a water spout a few days ago. quie big. right down to sea from the cloud up top. i think it hit the samarang quarters. first tornadoes i've seen in my lifr, real one that is. awesome and scary. wonder what it will be like if it hit this rig. the sound alone would be frightening. the sky was dark with big clouds abve it. the area under te clouds became dark too. could see the darkness closing in from both sides. an amazing sight. really Allah is great.

Alhamdulillah.. baru bangun tidur yang paanjang dari ptg tadi, selepas habis semua logging utk section ni. Letih, dah berapa hari tidur tak tentu arah dan taak cukup. Ini baru dapat tidur 6-7 jam. tapi banyak lagi kerja nak buat especiallly nak kena describe sample sidewall core tu. mdt samplle kena siap analisis dulu. hayati dah call semalam minta resultnya, kata tak siap lagi baru saja unload samplenya, hari ni kena siapkanlah juga. dan kena make sure sdi of schlumberger ada address utk hantar botol gas sample tu to prss.

dah berapa hari tak taalipon naza? report daily pppun dah berterabur. cpr hantar sekkali dgn dgr, tak sempat nak buat, asyik kena witness logging run saja. hopefully back to normal from today, insyaAllah. dan hari ni kena siapkan dan get sign mar, tmesheet, expenses dan fax to ofiss. so many things to do, mannn... so short a day.

Ahhh... back on the net. Not easy to get internet connection on the rig. I am on the Hakuryu III now, a semisubmersible drilling rig, off Miri, in Sarawak waters. Close to Brunei border, actually. Been here for a week already, today. Internet is thru sattelite connection (VSAT) and slow, 14.4kbps. But still can do it..

Ofis dah call, suruh pergi kerja di Hakuryu III, well Betty Timur. Ganti Sofian dia dah dah lama tak cuti panjang. So kena call Sofian juga untuk tanya dia macam mana cara kerja di H3, especially dengan Johnny Tan di sana. On Monday kena attend meeting dgn Carigali geologist, then Tuesday travel to Miri dgn Jove, dia pergi for the predict job. Dah lama tak pergi Miri, ni first time aku pergi staff house di Miri (kalau tak penuh). Location rasanya dekat pantai, jadi boleh bawa handfon, insyaAllah.

Naza bagi kerja lagi, buatkan sheet utk dia masuk markah budak then kira automatik gred dan lain-lain analisa.

Baru balik dari Tangkak. Beli ayam telur, siap proses 3 ekor, cuma RM10. Boleh juga buat rendang ayam ke, kari ayam ke. Beli spare part utk repair van, kena blei sendiri, minta pomen beli dia tak nak. Then tukar kad maybank kepada bankcard. Siap tukar dua-dua kad, svg dan current a/c.

The repair on the van's light no good. Headlight already not working right hand side. Luckily the rest still working, especailly brakes and signals, most important.

Went out to Tangkak to repair the lights on my van. Hopefully this repair will last longer than the last one. RM20, not too bad.

Atan came about meracun dan membaja kebun kelapa sawit. Racun dah ada, baja belum ambil/beli lagi. Nampaknya racun dululah. Esok dia datang, kami nak bawa air dalam tong pergi kebun. Kebun sentang Kak Siah dah tabur baja posfat (untuk bagi kuat akar) pagi ni, baja 2 kampit aku beli semalam tak cukup, nak kena beli satu kampit lagi. Petang inilah pergi beli.

Sekejap tadi pergi pasar tani kat Simpang Bekoh. Ikan bawal tak ada, beli ikan tenggiri, RM14 sekilo. Lebih kurang sama harga dua ikan tu. Mi yang orang melayu buat pun tak ada, tafu pun sama. Dulu ada orang yang dok buat tafu-fa tu buat juga tafu, tapi sekarang dah tak ada lagi, kenapa? Tak tanya pulak. Sayur satu ikat RM2!! Gila babi punya mahal. Apa cerita barang kat pasar tani lagi mahal dari pasar/pasar malam. Selalunya satu ikat RM1 saje.. Ada orang nak cepat kaya ni.
